Calibration service
Scheduled recalibration keeps your instrument inside specification — and keeps your results defensible.
Why recalibrate
Spectrometers drift. Optics age, detectors change response, plasma conditions shift with the lab environment. Drift is slow enough that nothing looks obviously wrong — which is exactly why it is dangerous. By the time results are visibly off, the batches you already released were measured on an instrument that was already out.
Regular recalibration against certified reference materials establishes what the instrument reads and corrects it. Where you are working to a standard (ISO 17025, BIS hallmarking, an internal quality system), the calibration certificate is what makes your result defensible.
How it works
- Assessment. We check the instrument against certified reference materials to establish its current state.
- Recalibration. Standardization across the working range, with adjustments where drift is found.
- Verification. A second pass against independent standards confirms the instrument reads true.
- Documentation. A calibration certificate with traceable results for your quality system.
Scheduling
Most customers calibrate annually, more often where throughput is high or the reporting requirement is tight. We hold service contracts that schedule visits automatically, so calibration does not slip to the point where it is remembered during an audit.
Our engineers work from locations across India. Tell us your instrument model and location and we will confirm coverage and lead time.
